"Family
Business" is a pilot program for "Making Business
Work" a special Caucus New Jersey series focusing on
a myriad of issues facing family-run businesses. This half-hour
program will look at small to mid-sized businesses and address
the many challenges that face entrepreneurs trying to grow
their business. Concrete business issues like obtaining
capital, succession planning, estate planning and tax issues,
and avoiding litigation will be discussed. Additional issues
such as managing conflicts and communication, management
styles, and promoting good business practices while maintaining
good family relations will be as examined.
