Stroke is the 3rd leading cause of death in this country, 700,000 - 800,000 people die from it each year. New surgical techniques and new drugs are helping more and more people live. But for the survivors and their families, another battle is just beginning. This panel discussed who gets strokes, what can be done when they occur, and the long road back to “normalcy”.
