| This
program looks at infectious diseases that pose a threat
to the public's health. Physicians, the State Epidemiologist
and the Scientific Director of the Public Health Research
Institute will carefully examine new and old diseases and
determine their real and perceived impact on the state citizenry.
Influenza, AIDS, West Nile, TB and SARS and those measures
that significantly reduce the risk of spreading and contracting
these diseases will be addressed.
