Description

This half-hour panel discussion is an important and compelling installment of the Newark’s Rebirth series.  From the unique perspective of those who lived through one of the most pivotal times in our nation’s history, this program chronicles the impact that the riots had on the Newark community, and the transformation that the city has undergone over the past few decades.   Panelists will provide first-hand accounts of what life was like in Newark 40 years ago, their perception of the riots, and how the city has evolved since that time.
