Description

Human Trafficking is the illegal trade in human beings through abduction, the use of threat or force, deception, fraud or "sale" for the purposes of sexual exploitation, forced labor, or debt bondage.  Human trafficking is also referred to as modern day slavery. Trafficking in persons is a violation of human rights. On this program, the panel discusses the severity of this growing problem, increases community knowledge of the issue, describes services that are available to victims, and explains what law enforcement is doing to stop this criminal industry.
